ACCESS TO SRC BGP CAR PARK

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT ACCESS TO THE CAMP SITE!

Please ensure that your Silverstone Racing Club car park permit is firmly fixed in a high visibility position on your windscreen. You do not require another car pass for the SRC carpark. You must, on the approach to Silverstone, follow the signing marked 'OFFICIALS'. If you follow any other route you will not be able to gain access to the Racing Club car park. To arrive at the members' car park, you should enter at gate West 5 [MAIN ENTRANCE] and follow the central boulevard ( pass under the bridge sign) to the roundabout where you take the first [left] exit, with the hangar building on your right.

Pass by the main Circuit Office and Innovation Centre and then across the road to follow past the industrial units and on to the car park.

From Buckingham direction: enter at West 5 and follow directions above. [You may also enter at vehicle gate West 1, between the roundabout off the A43 and West 5 and follow the inner ring road to the members' car park].

Pedestrian gate 3 will be open [near the BT Cellnet Tower] and from there it is a short walk to the Clubhouse and marquee. There will be security staff at the gate and at the entrance to the Club to check your tickets and passes. PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO BRING THEM WITH YOU. A car parking attendant will see you to your place on the SRC carpark and ensure that only SRC members are permitted access to the parking area.

We have rented golf buggies for the duration of the weekend to run back and forth from Gate 3 and Gate 5 to the Clubhouse - this is primarily for disabled or elderly members. It is not to be used for running around the circuit and will not deviate from its specific route!

Grand Prix Facilities

The Clubhouse naturally has to be extended at the Grand Prix and we have a marquee running the length of the Clubhouse to provide additional seating and catering services. Throughout the Grand Prix you have access to catering and bar services, the opportunity to purchase Club Merchandise and naturally, to enjoy the Grand Prix. Our grandstand offers a superb view of the track as we overlook the Complex, the Pit Entrance and the rear end of the grid!

The SRC enjoyed huge popularity over the Grand Prix weekend in 2008. We all felt very privileged to be part of the up and coming Club that is the SRC! It was lovely to see so many members of the public glancing in as they went by our marquee looking enviously inwards as they saw the range of facilities we offer - I am sure this played a big part in making us all feel like royalty!
